Bono speech to the NAACP

Does Jesus Christ still live today?

Um... interesting question? This blog, you'll probably be glad to find out, isn't a philosophical debate about the existence of God and if he exists who is he and where does he live.

Personally I believe the revelation of who God is was given to us over 2000 years ago by a man who was God in the flesh whom I believe was birthed kicking and screaming into the crap of humanity for whom He lived and died for.

If Christ is believed to be alive today and indeed to be the God-man who I've spoken off above then surely he'd be seen in His followers. The truth, if this is the case, is He's surely dead.

Bono, is the exception - a man who as the great John Wimber put it trully is 'doing the stuff'.

Whether you are struggling for God or just an aetheist looking for some hope in the world I hope you take encouragement from this blog. And in particular if your a Christian I would hope this would be the encouragement for us all to finally get off our backsides to bring this Gospel of Hope, Truth, Peace and Love that we have, even if it's kicking and screaming into the world.

Enjoy... Bono in the Pulpit.

Thanks
